HNC Building Services Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor

Part-Time | 22.5 Hours per Week | Immediate Start Available

We are urgently seeking an experienced HNC Building Services Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor to provide support with apprentices on Building Services Courses.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable assessor with previous experience delivering and assessing HNC Building Services Engineering Apprenticeships who can hit the ground running and support apprentices, employers, and the wider programme team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tripartite reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Assess apprentice portfolio work and ensure progress against apprenticeship standards.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and support to learners throughout their programme.
• Maintain accurate assessment records and documentation.
• Liaise effectively with employers and curriculum staff to support apprentice achievement.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience assessing HNC Building Services Engineering Apprenticeships.
• Strong understanding of apprenticeship assessment processes and requirements.
• Experience conducting tripartite reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain high-quality learner support.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Hours

• 22.5 hours per week
• Working pattern is flexible and can be agreed between the successful candidate and the hiring manager.

Pay & Benefits

• £35.00 - £40.00 per hour
• Mileage expenses paid at 45p per mile for travel outside of the college campus.
• Parking expenses reimbursed where applicable.
